Sonu Nigam is a famous Indian singer, musician, musician and actor. He has sung in many languages including Hindi, Kannada, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Assamese, Oriya, Nepali, Tulu and Maithili. He performed playback singing in many Bollywood films including Mukbala, Mehraban, Agha, Khader, Shabnam, Hulal, Stuntman, Gaddar and Ram Jane. He sang the hit number "Sandis et ait Hai" written by Anu Malik, from the movie Border, and sung by Pardes to Nadeem-Shravan-composition song "Ye Dil Deewana". For the song "Sandis Aat Hai", he won the Zee Cine Award for Best Playback Singer-Male. He sang the title for the film 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' for which he won the National Film Award for Best Male Playback singer. In addition to these awards, he won many other awards in his career
In addition to playback singing, he appeared in several television shows as a host and as a celebrity judge. He was hosting musician Sa Re Ga Ma from 1995 to 1991. In 2002, he hosted Star Plus's television program Kisme Kita Haim Dum.
He also released pop albums in many languages. He started his acting career as a child along with Betab (1983). Being an adult, he acted in films like Jansi Dushman: a unique story, I wish you were in love and love in Nepal.
