Mohammed Nisar was the first real bowler of India who played in 6 Test matches for the Indian national cricket team. He was probably one of India's fastest bowlers. He made a great speed pair with Amar Singh. In the first Test of India in Lord's in 1932, he finished with a score of 93 for 5. On that tour, he took 71 wickets at an average of 18.09, which was an average match. He took 5 wickets from MCC in the inaugural Test of India in Mumbai in 1933-34. His match figures of 117 for 9 defeated Vizie Eze to the audience in Baines. It was the only win against the visitors, they had a great effect in taking the 32 wickets in four informal Tests against Jack Ryder's Australian XI in the winter of 1935. He took six wickets in his last Test Oval against England in 1936, and a disastrous spell of four wickets reduced England by 7 to 3 to 493 for 422, although on the losing side Had ended
