Shreya Ghoshal is a prominent Indian playback singer. In the initial round of her career, She participated in television local reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. In addition to playback singing, Shreya Ghoshal has also recorded several studio albums. Her first studio album, named Bendhey Bina, was released in 1998 with 14 tracks. SHe sang as a playback singer in Bollywood with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Devdas (2002), for which Shreya Ghoshal won the National Film Award, a Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer and the Filmfare RD Burman Award for the new musical talent. She sang five songs in the film, She received the second National Film Award for the song "Dhare Jalna" from Film Paleo, She worked with Bollywood's leading musicians and sang duets with many established singers. In addition to these songs, She gave voice in many other films, including Yu Me Aur Hum, Sirf, Ghatothkach, My Dad Pehle Aap, De Tali, Dishwatara, Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic, Hal-e-Dil and Luck Connection.
She also recorded songs in other languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Malayala, and Kannada. She has won four National Film Awards, six Filmfare awards including five Best Female Playback Singer, nine Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer for South-Four Malayalam, two Kannada, two for Tamil and Telugu, three Kerala State Film Awards and Two Tamil Nadu State Film Awards
